Pentabasic acid 315 is a carboxylic acid compound, an odorless or low-odor white powder, used as an anti-rust additive for ferrous metals and can provide excellent corrosion inhibition properties in coolants and metalworking fluids.

Pentabasic acid 315 is a carboxylic acid compound, an odorless or low-odor white powder.
It used as an anti-rust additive for ferrous metals and can provide excellent corrosion inhibition properties in coolants and metalworking fluids.
After neutralizing with alkali/alcoholamine, it has coupling effect and anti-rust effect.
Can be used in all types of water-based systems:
Metalworking fluids (semi-synthetic and fully synthetic fluids), industrial cleaning agents, lubricants for offshore oil/gas drilling, water-based quenching fluids.
After neutralizing with alkali/alcoholamine, the anti-rust effect is more than twice that of 50% tribasic acid.
Extremely low chloride ion, excellent pitting corrosion resistance for iron, cast iron and iron alloys
Hard water resistance >1000ppm
Does not produce nitrite amines
Low foam, odorless, no dust
good thermal stability
White or off-white wet solid, active content is about 75%
One year (closed, cool and dry conditions)
This product is non-flammable, non-explosive, low-toxic, non-corrosive, and non-hazardous chemicals
200KG/drum, 1000KG/drum.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from acids and water.
Transport as a general non-hazardous chemical.
